| About the Children?s Video Centre:
We have been selling a wide variety of videos under The Video Bookshelf name since videos were first introduced in 1980. The Children?s Video Centre was originally part of The Victorian Council for Children?s Films and Television Limited where it was begun by parents who wanted to provide the best quality and most suitable videos for children. Peter Benn, who owns The Video Bookshelf, inaugurated the business for the Council, Following the demise of the Council the ideals were transferred to the current business. Hence there is a continuity here of 25 years of experience and expertise in children?s films and television. Therefore you can be assured that you are in safe hands with people who know and care about children?s visual requirements.

Confidentiality and Security:
All information gathered is used strictly in-house by Argosy Films Pty Ltd trading as the Children?s Video Centre and The Video Bookshelf. We do not sell or in any way share information with other third parties.
Returns Policy:
We do NOT accept returns without prior approval from our office. Initially please send us an email in regard to the problem. At our discretion, our approval will be emailed to you, and a copy is then to be returned with the tape/disc at your expense unless otherwise discussed and approved in writing.
My Disc Won?t Play Properly:
It is very rare for a DVD to be faulty. Therefore any disc that doesn?t play is frequently traced back to an incompatible DVD player and/or the television receiver or a combination of the two. We sell only Region 4 discs (or selected discs with universal coding), so therefore they should all successfully play on Australian purchased players. There are a small number of ?Region 4 NTSC? discs released in Australia and these require both a player AND a television receiver that are compatible with multi-system playback. Such discs are very few and if they are released in that format that information will be included as part of the title of the disc in our catalogue. It will also be printed on the disc?s cover. In general when a DVD won?t play on one machine, then we will request that you try it on at least one other different brand DVD player / television combination.
Can I Play These DVDs On My Computer:
So long as you have a DVD-ROM drive you should have no problems. But we suggest that you verify this with your manual before ordering.
Exchange Policy:
We do not exchange titles unless there is a valid reason in relation to manufacturing faults.

If you wish to cancel any order or part thereof please advise us by email or telephone (03) 9820 3200 at the earliest opportunity. Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.

Out of Stock Items:
